First Post

Hey there,

I never thought I would be doing this because of the time commitment that it entails but I have decided to give it a shot.

About me: I am a twenty something African MBA student attending one of the top business schools in the world. I am ambitious and hope to cash in on this big time investment in the nearest future. How do I plan to make this happen? No idea. However I know that where there is will, success surely follows.

I plan to use this blog as a forum to write and share my thoughts on issues that affect me and many Africans around the world. Sometimes, I will write about my personal experiences and at other times, I will write about issues ranging from entertainment to religion and even to politics and travel.

I choose to remain annonymous as I could be controversial at times and wouldn't like my venting on national and global issues come in the way of millions of dollars that I am destined to make.

I am open to insults and criticism. So please keep them coming.

Without further ado, I welcome you all to my world. Enjoy!

  3. Hey, i know this is a bit far on but i just read what you wrote on linda Ikeji's blog about Mr Leo Stan Ekeh. I understand what you say about our youth needing to open their eyes to a bigger picture and to some extent i agree with your statement. You seem well educated unlike most of the people commenting and 'tapping into wealth' that they don't know how it came about. However when it comes to Leo comparing him to people such as Abacha seems a bit extreme. I can say i've known Leo for over 30 years and watched him grow from a DJ trying to support himself to a small business man trying to support his family. Unlike most of the nigerians you speak about, Leo's money did not come about overnight, he worked for the money. That's why when you meet his children, they aren't spoilt like governors children and the children of the so-called 'deceitful' nigerians because he knows the value of the money, because the money was not just given to him. Having known Leo, i can honestly say he is a hardworking. God-fearing man. As for the INEC deal that they kept mentioning, it was also not given to him, he had to fight against the chinese to get the deal because obviously the INEC people wanted something fast and cheap, and when the deal with the chinese company fell through, Leo picked up their mess and Came through. So please continue fighting for our youth because we need more people like you who see beyond the money, who want to really tackle the issues we have in this country. But when you do argue, get your facts right and don't bring honest Men like Leo down to make a point. God Bless
